Meet Our Host
Richie Ploesch
Based in San Diego, CA, Richie is Sr. Director of Partnerships for Learn Behavioral and supports business development efforts across the country which include developing new clinics in underserved communities. He has been working in the field of special education for over 15 years. His specialty is educating teens and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Richie earned his teaching credential in 2006, a Master’s Degree in 2008, and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2009. Since then, he has taught graduate level courses as an Adjunct Professor and acted as a Fieldwork Supervisor for students pursuing their BCBA. He founded an international consulting agency that provided parent consultation, staff training, and other behavior analytic supports to families in several countries around the world. Richie recently co authored Improvised Theatre and the Autism Spectrum: A Practical Guide to Teaching Social Connection and Communication Skills based on the program he developed in San Diego.
